How do I purchase a burial plot at Omagh Presbyterian Cemetery?

Are cremation burials available at the cemetery?
Yes. Designated cremation plots are available for the interment of cremated remains in approved urns or containers. Please contact our office for current availability and details.
What are the cemetery's visiting hours?
The cemetery is open to visitors daily from dawn until dusk. The grounds are closed at dusk for the safety of all visitors.
Can anyone be buried at Omagh Presbyterian Cemetery?
Omagh Presbyterian Cemetery was established to provide burial grounds for church members and their families. If you are unsure whether you qualify, please contact our office and we will discuss your situation with sensitivity and care.
What is included in an interment service?
Are there restrictions on monument size or style?
Yes. All monuments must conform to the cemetery’s guidelines regarding size, height, and approved materials. Both flat markers and upright headstones may be permitted subject to prior written approval. Please contact our office before ordering a monument.
Do I need to hire an approved contractor to install a monument?
Yes. All monument installation must be carried out by a contractor pre-approved by the cemetery. Using an unapproved contractor may result in the monument being removed. Contact our office for a list of approved contractors.
Can I scatter ashes at the cemetery?
No. The scattering of ashes is strictly prohibited anywhere on the cemetery grounds. Cremated remains must be interred in a designated cremation plot in an approved container.
How do I transfer ownership of a burial plot?
Plot transfers are handled by our administration office. Please contact us by phone and our team will guide you through the required documentation and steps to complete the ownership transfer.
Are vaults required for burial?
You are welcome to call our office at info@omaghcementery.com or visit the cemetery in person during visiting hours. You may also submit an enquiry through the Contact page of this website.
How do I request more information or schedule a visit?
Yes. Vaults are required for standard burials at Omagh Presbyterian Cemetery and must be installed by an approved contractor. Vaults protect the burial site and maintain the long-term stability of the grounds.
